Congress MLA Praniti Shinde insults PM Narendra Modi, calls him a 'dengue mosquito'
10/28/2018 2:17:25 PM

SHOLAPUR: Former Union Home Minister and Congress veteran Sushilkumar Shinde's daughter Praniti has now referred to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a ''dengue mosquito'' and urged the people to oust him and his party BJP from power in the upcoming general elections.

Praniti Shinde is the Congress MLA from Solapur in Maharashtra.

Praniti reportedly made these insulting remarks against the PM while addressing a public rally in Sholapur during which she said that ''there is a new dengue mosquito in the country whose name is Modi baba that is causing everyone to fall ill.''

The Congress MLA went on urge the voters to ensure that PM Modi is ousted from power in the elections due next year.

The Congress MLA also targetted BJP MP Sharad Bansode during her speech and called him a ''drunkard.''

Praniti Shinde's use of derogatory words for PM Modi comes days after independent Vadgam MLA and Dalit leader Jignesh Mevani labelled the PM as a 'namak haram'

Mevani, while highlighting the plight of migrant workers from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh in Gujarat, had called the Prime Minister ''namak haram'' (someone who betrays trust).

Mevani made these remarks while speaking at a rally in Patna during which he also questioned the silence of PM Modi over the recent incidents of violence against migrant workers in his home state of Gujarat.

"Shame on you, Narendra Modi, shame on you," Mevani said.

NCP MP Majeed Memon, while speaking to a TV news channel, had condemned the use of derogatory words for the PM.
