MENDHAR, Dec 3: Government forces on Monday launched a major search operation in several villages of Mendhar area in Poonch district. Reports reaching here said that a joint team of army, SOG and police today evening launched the search peration in a number of villages which include Pathanteer Salw-ah, Sakimadan, Chatral, Kanti, Bonala , Bhera, Kasab, Ari, Harni, Kotan, Gultha, Kandi , Kalaban , Gohlad , Gursai and Dharana. Confirming the incident, SSP Poonch Rajiv Panday said that the searches were started in these villages following some suspicious movement. When reports last came the searches were going on in these areas. |
