Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 3: The list of accredited Journalists of the state uploaded by the State Information Department on its official websites gives inadequate details, with no particulars of their email addresses and photographs uploaded on it, thus making it difficult for netizens to reach out to them.
Recently, the representatives of some organizations and companies from other states brought up this issue by saying that they had to send invitations for coverage to media houses as well as to media persons , but there was no relevant information on the website. "When we visited the official website of the Information Department to get email addresses of accredited journalists, we were surprised to the find no such detail," they informed the Early Times.
They further said that such information proves very important for the multinational companies and other organization from outside the state. Such detail also provides help the people who had to share some information only through emails.
Pertinently, the previous list of the accredited journalists has all information including their email addresses, and photographs. This time due attention was not given by the department to update the list properly which has created the chaos among the people who need such information.
They further said that even the list accredited journalists from Jammu is not seen on the website while the list of the Kashmir journos is visible.
