Indian Hawks earns distinction of representing India

JAMMU, Dec 3: Five players from the Indian Hawks club national participant from Jammu earned the distinction of representing India in the Asian Roller Sports Championship held at Namwon, (South korea) in the month of September 2018.
Arjun Gandotra- Captain of Indian inline hockey team, State awardee, Sher-e-Kashmir Awardee, Asian Bronze medalist and 10 Internationals participations, Tarun Gandotra- Vice Captain of Indian inline hockey team, (nominee for Sher-e-Kashmir award), 9 internationals participations, Dhruv Pant- 2 International participations, no. of times open national, school national and KVS national winner, Abhinav Gupta- 2 international participations, national participant, Rajiv kalotra- participated.
The Indian team had 15 members out of which 5 were from Jammu and play for the INDIAN HAWKS CLUB. Earlier this year four members of the club namely Arjun , Tarun , Dhruv and Abhinav also participated in the World Championship 2018 held at Asiago, Italy. Moreover in the recently held State Championship at Shiva roller skating institute, peerkho, Jammu, INDIAN HAWKS inline hockey club remain undefeated by dominating the state championship by winning all the matches by good margin.
It is pertinent to mention here that Indian Hawks club is on the winning streak of State Championship J&K from past 3 years. The club also includes Arpit Verma- national winner, Amit Singh Rajput- national participant, Ankush Gupta- National Medal Winner, Shayan chauhan- National Participant, Lucky anand (goal keeper)- international participant and Rajan Salathia. The CLUB INDIAN HAWKS has thanked GS Khurmi (President of the Jammu and Kashmir roller skating association) and the members of the association for their guidance and support to the club.
