BJP government failed to full fill promises: Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma
1/24/2019 11:00:35 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Jan 24: Former minister and president DDC Kathua, Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma today conducted a press conference highlighting various burning issues both at the stat and centre level. Manohar Lal presided the function at his official residence.
Addressing the media, Dr. Sharma said that the anti youth, anti employment policies of the Modi government are the root cause for all the time high unemployment in the country. India has approximately 65% of youth population but 30% of them unemployed claimed Sharma.
He added that BJP government has failed to provide 10 crores jobs that they have promised in their elections manifesto and now they are telling youths to sell pakodas to hide their failure and promises. Further it is the duty of government to provide employment opportunities to the youth but the present government is dividing the country and youth on communal lines.
Dr. Sharma said, "Kathua district has been most neglected by the previous BJP-PDP government in the state. He pointed out that more than 2000 post in various departments has been lying vacant in Kathua district. Further, he asked the reason why there has been no job advertisement for teachers post in Kathua district during last 4 years whereas on the contrary in others 21 districts of the state selection list has been published 6 months back. Same has been the case in context of SPO recruitment.
He further asserted that SRO 202 & SRO 520 of the state government is sheer mockery and betrayal with the youth of the state as both are against the Supreme courts direction and labor laws that says equal wages for equal work and requested the present government to quash the same for the betterment of the youth and employed section and daily wagers.
Sharma further said that government has not done any funding in small irrigation projects which would have helped farmers but make false tall claims of helping the farmers. Further, uncertain weather has damaged crops and the crop insurance is just a mockery of farmer as they have not received a single penny as compensation against the damages .Same has been case in providing compensation to cross border firing victims.
He added that those family members's of those who have died in cross border firing are still waiting for compensation. Further, Sharma requested the people to raise the question that though after giving 5 MLA and 1 MP from Kathua district then why area has been neglected on all fronts.
