JAMMU, Jan 24: The key witness in the murder of BJP State Secretary Anil Parihar and his brother Ajeet Parihar for the first time after the gruesome killings narrated the horrifying account of the incident which sent shivers down the spine of people of entire state.
Speaking to ET Anil Manhas, a domestic helper with late BJP leader said that both the deceased leader and his brother were on way to their home on the ill- fated night when the unknown gunmen stopped them and killed them by firing at them from point blank range.
Manhas in his early 20s said that the assailants who attacked the BJP leader and his brother were two in number ; while one fired on both the brothers with a pistol, his accomplice was on other side of the wall. He said that the assailant had covered his face and was wearing a black jacket, similar to the man seen in a CCTV footage. He said that after seeing both the brothers fallen on ground, he ran for a help, but no one came to their rescue. He said that after finding no support, he reached home and brought the matter into the notice of family members of Parihar brothers who immediately rushed to the spot and shifted them to hospital where they both were declared as brought dead.
He said that the person seen in the CCTV footage could be the same who killed Parihar brothers.
