DBPS seeks delimitation of constituencies in Jammu province

JAMMU, Jan 24: Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha (DBPS) today appealed to all political parties social cultural organizations of Jammu province to unite on the issue of delimitation of the constituencies of Jammu Province on the ground that the Jammu province has vast area and more population as compared with Kashmir province.
Addressing an emergency meeting of DBPS activist here president of the Sabha Ved Parkash Sharma requested the Governor Satya Paul Malik to immediately appoint delimitation commission to exercise full power to redress the long pending issue of the people of Jammu Province who are demanding the same for the last so many years.
Sharma announce that a seminar of various political parties social cultural organizations will be organized by the DBPS in the premises of Sabha very shortly to take wider views of the different communities leader of the various political parties social cultural organizations representatives on this important issue.
Sharma further stated that state assembly election may not be conducted until and unless delimitation process is not completed otherwise it will be a great injustice with Jammuities.
Advocate P.C. Sharma said that all stakeholders including the governments should not delay the construction of Ram Mandir at Sri. Ram Janam Bhoomi Ayodhya as the nation cannot afford the same.
Vice-President Virendar Mohan Magotra, Satyanand Sharma, Advocate Chander Mohan Sharma, Subash Shastri, Jagan Nath Sharma, Shiv Ram Sharma, Romesh Sharma, Sat pal Sharma, Shiv Ram Sharma, Satpal Khajuria, Dr. Som Dutt Magotra, Raman Sharma, K.L. Sharma, Prem Balotra, Shanti Saroop Baru, Rajesh Bargotra, M.L. Sharma, Girdhari Lal, S.C.D Sharma, Jia Lal Sharma and Gurdas Sharma were also present on the occasion sabha will celebrate the Jayanti of first Paramveer Chakar Vijayta Shaheed Som Nath Sharma on 31st January 2019 as a Sankalap Diwas with fervor and enthusiasm, they added.
