| Non-regularized electrical engineers hold protest, demand regularization | | |

JAMMU, Jan 24: Protesting the state government's dilly-dallying attitude over their regularization, the retired non-regularized electrical engineers of Power Development Department (PDD) held a demonstration here at Civil Secretariat. The electrical engineers had gathered at Civil Secretariat to know the status of their case but when they came to know that nothing has been done so far they started to raise slogans in front of the office chamber of the concerned Advisor.
The protesting engineers said that they have been relentlessly approaching authorities for their regularization for the last four months adding that they again visited Civil Secretariat and tried to meet authorities but besides being disappointed also came to know that nothing has been done as far as their regularization is concerned.
The protesters said that they approached Grievance Committee and Governor for appointment besides they also met PDD authorities number of times. It is shocking that the government has not taken any decision regarding their regularization. They again reiterated and requested the state government that their grievance should be addressed immediately. |
