| People stage protest against Ex-MLA for inclusion of his name in ABS | | |

UDHAMPUR, Jan 24: Locals of Udhampur today staged protest against former MLA Pawan Gupta for inclusion of his and his family members' name in Ayushmaan Bharat Scheme.
A local Pawan Singh said that Gupta and his family has proved that they wanted to gain every benefits of government schemes depriving the poor of their due. He alleged that the scheme Aushmaan Bharat was meant for ensuring treatment to the poor people from deadly diseases with finance through insurance. He said that poor people were struggling on roads to get their names included in the scheme but ex MLA Gupta proved that in Udhampur only his family was on priority. He threatened for strong agitation if early action would not be taken. |
