| NYK organizes 3 day workshop | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Mar 28: In the process of development of Adarsh Gram, Nehru Yuva Kendra Kathua organized 3rd workshop on " Self-employment and Income Generation through agro based Industries" in which all allied departments educate and aware public about the various schemes and programmes.
In the workshop, the resource persons Sanjeev Kumar, District Horticulture officer delivered lecture on scope of self -employment and income generation through various schemes of Horticulture. Gorak Chand from Floriculture delivered lecture on potential of income generation in production of flowers. KK Bhardwaj from NABARD delivered lecture on farmers clubs and other financial schemes for farmers. Nitin from Agriculture delivered lecture on modern methods of agriculture for income generation and KCK, PM KSY and others. Dr. Umesh from Animal Husbandry delivered lecture on scope of self-employment and Income Generation in modern Dairy farming, Poultry, and others.
Dr. Barjesh from KVK Kathua and delivered lecture on working and functioning of KVK and imparting training to farmers and Youth on self-employment. He announced that KVK will adopt logate village for promotion of modern agriculture.
Som Datt Zard, DYC, distributed dustbin to the villagers for Swachhata of village Logate and making swachh Bharat Abhiyan successful. In his address he mentioned that development is a continue process and NYK has successfully established linkage of various departments with Youth Club and panchayats and youth should come forward to get benefits of these schemes of social, economical development, income generation, skill development and self-employment.
Raja Ram Sarpanch Logate also addresses the participants and assured that panchayat and youth clubs will work for the development of the village to make it adarsh village. |
