Kishtwar, Mar 28: After ET highlighted the brazen violation of Model Code of Conduct along with failure of District Election Officer, the Health Department Officials in Kishtwar replaced the huge hoarding highlighting the Central government run schemes with the hoarding of SVEEP from Election Commission of India highlighting the greater participation of voters to strengthen the democra y. The hording that mocked at the direction of Election Commission of India's directions that barred and restricted the promotion of any government welfare schemes during election period, was removed. Early Times had highlighted the issue in its 25-3-2019 edition.
Beside this, the hoardings installed inside Multi purpose hall of DC Kishtwar were also removed after Early Times highlighted the issue in its 26-3-2019 edition. |
