| LS Polls: SCSTOBC Mahasabha supports Congress Party | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 8: The Jammu and Kashmir SC, ST & OBC Maha Sabha today extended its support to Congress Party for upcoming Lok Sabha Polls.
According to press release a meeting was organised under the Chairmanship of Shamsher Bhagat at Gangyal, Jammu today. In the meeting it was unanimously decided that the SC, ST & OBC community may cast their vote in favour of Congress party in the forthcoming Parliamentary Elections of all the Parliamentary constitutions of J&K State.
The said decision was taken for the safeguard of the Constitution of India as the common masses are divided on religious, caste and creed basis which is not accepted to us and the Congress is only secular party who will boost the Indian constitution on every sphere and has given the sacrifices for the freedom from the British rulers.
That during the campaign by rally Narinder Modi in the last Parliamentary election which was held in the year 2014 at Hira Nagar District Kathua (J&K) that he belongs to OBC caste but this was only for the gain of vote of the OBC community and nothing else and cheated the OBC community for the last 05 years but he is not belong to OBC community and is Baniya community, this was only to achieve his goal to capture the regime.
That 10% reservation which has been kept for the general category who had never demanded for the same while as the OBC is demanding for the last 70 years but nothing has been done with the said community by NDA Government in the Centre as well as in State Government and instead of this the SC/ST & OBC communities are harassing by one pretext or the other by NDA Government headed by Narinder Modi. |
