Udhampur, Apr 8: The 446th birth anniversary of Goswami Guru Nabha Dass Maharaj was celebrated at Udhampur here today under the chairmanship of District President Mahashal Sader Sanjay Udhampur, Dev Raj Kundal.
Scores of devotes from different parts of district witnessed the function. An impressive Shobha Yatra was also taken out on the eve of birthday of Goswami Guru Nabha Dass Maharaj, which passed through forest office, Chabutra bazzar, Gole market, Ramnagar chowk, Slthi chowk, Dhar road and finally culminated at Nabha Dass Minder Kashira .
Prominent personalities threw light on the teaching and principles of Guru Manhattan Dass Maharaj and appealed the gathering to follow the path of Guru Manhattan Dass. Besides, all the community of Mahasha sabha humbly requested government to grant mark holiday on the birthday anniversary of Guru Nabha Dass Maharaj.
On this occasion different types of cultural activities were performed by the different artists and meritorious students and artists from different parts of District were awarded.
