Udhmapur, Apr 8: Delhi Public school, Udhampur organized the special assembly on the commencement of new session 2019-2020 with a theme "Prafful: Happy mind, Happy Life.
The assembly begins with the auspicious ceremony of lighting of traditional ceremonial lamp, by evoking goddess sarawati led by a formal welcome of the students, enlightening them about Happy curriculum, school will follow this year with the help of specially designed activities under the guidance of well trained facilitators.
Various programmes were presented by teachers like Nukkad Natak, Dances, songs, Poem recitation were presented before the students to mark the happy beginning of the session. Highlight of the day was the motivational speech on learning from errors where students learnt that it's not necessary to be correct all the time. Rather, life is all about learning from your own mistakes.
The 1st morning assembly of the session was addressed by honorable Pro-Vice Chairman of the school, Dr.J.C.Gupta he congratulated the students on graduation to higher classes. The students ensured him that they will be more active in terms of academics and co-curricular activities. Virtuous Principal of the school Dr.Kunal Anand encouraged the students by letting them know that they all are unique in one or the other way. That's why they need to realize their strength their potential which will help them to reach the Pinnacle. |
