Early Times Report

JAMMU, Apr 8: Blue eyed contractors have been reportedly ruling the roost at Jagti colony where repair of the quarters has been going on selective basis, inhabitants of the camp alleged on Monday.
They said the bathrooms and kitchens were to be repaired on priority, but the JEs of construction wing of Relief Organization being in connivance with blue eyed contractors have made life of common inhabitants of the camp hell as they are reluctant to finish the works, leaving common masses in lurch. My bathroom is dysfunctional for the past 20 days and our concerned JE seems least bothered about the difficulties I along with my parents and children are facing when to attend a nature's call, what should we do? said a social activist Sunil Pandita while sharing his ordeal with Early Times.
He alleged that JEs of Relief Organization posted in Jagti camp are indulging in alleged malpractices and are hand in glove with contractors who have left the repairing work of Jagti quarters midway for reasons best known to them.
Pandita urged RRC migrants Jammu to take stock of situation and take necessary action against JEs responsible for improper work here at Jagti camp and thereby inconvenience that has been caused to the affected families, he added.
