BVP organizes Branch Level quiz competition

Jammu, Nov 2: Bharat Vikas Parishad Gandhi Nagar Branch Jammu conducted and organized Branch Level Quiz Competition (Bharat Ko Jano) at Govt. Girls High School Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, for junior group (i.e. from class 6th to 8th) and for senior group (i.e. from class 9th to 12th) students. Five schools participated in the competition comprising 5 teams in the senior group and 4 in the Junior group. In the senior group Kendriya Vidiyalay Nol Gandhi Nagar Jammu, Kendriya Vidiyalay No2 Jammu Cantt. & nd- Govt. Higher Secondary School Boys Jammu stood 1st, 2 & 3rd respectively while in the Junior group Presentation Convent Senior Secondary School Gandhi Nagar Jammu, Kendriya Vidiyalay No 1 Gandhi Nagar Jammu & Kendriya Vidiyalay No2 Jammu Cantt. stood lst, 2nd & 3rd respectively. The prizes were distributed among the winner.
The aim to conduct Quiz Competition is to acquaint the youth with our rich cultural heritage and inculcate among them true and glorious pictures of our motherland, Bharat's prestigious history and present day and with the sole objective to develop Nationalism and patriotism among the Indians especially among the students.
Champa Gupta, Headmaster, Govt. Girl High School Gandhi Nagar, Jammu was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Gopal Gupta, President Gandhi Nagar Branch, Jagjit Singh Isher Secretary Branch, Sushil Ojha Treasurer, Bhopal Dutta Chief Organizer organized and managed, the whole function.
The Quiz competition was conducted by Gopal Sharma State Organizing Secretary & Jyotsna Sharma Convenor of the Programme.
The others who graced the occasion with their presence were Amita Sharma Prant President, Dev Raj Sharma National Secretary, (Dr) Santosh Gupta Regional Secretary, S.N. Sharma, Arun Sharma, T.0 Taggar Vijay Sharma, B.B Sharma and others.
