| Doda admin felicitates Drudu Panchayat | | |

DODA, Nov 2: District administration Doda today felicitated Drudu Panchayat of Bhaderwah block for receiving the award of the best performing Panchayat in Child friendly category at national level, here at a function.
The award was conferred on the Panchayat by the Union Ministry of Panchayati Raj, on October 23, 2019 along with 21 Panchayats of other states.
DC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode was the chief guest on the occasion.
The DDC Doda congratulated Sarpanch Ashok Kumar and all the people of the Panchayat for achieving the great milestone and for setting the example for other Panchayats of the district to carry-on their activities with the same dedication and devotion.
He said that this award was given to the Panchayat for creating conducive atmosphere for the healthy growth and development of children at grassroot level- which is the basic component of social development.
Meanwhile, PR members projected various issues regarding the overall development of the Panchayat and nearby Panchayats.
The DDC assured the people that every possible help will be extended for solving the issues of these areas. |
