Jagti camp inmates highlight demands

JAMMU, Apr 6: With the onset of unforeseen fatal COVID- 19,the ongoing development works in Jagti Camp came to a stand still, which resulted in defective sanitation and cleanliness in camp thereby giving an alarming threat to environment besides affecting health of people thus becoming prone to infections.
In view of such alarming situation at least the cleaning in respect of safeguard from arising of infections on account of wastesvof repairing bathrooms,macadamising of inner approach roads,lifting of inner thrown out mulba in whole of the camp must be given a start including finalising incomplete works of mourning halls,providing of adequcate medicine /medicare facilities besides ensuring of proper lockdown ,fogging and spraying of antibacteria chemicals in the camp and above all full medical facilities at SDH Jagti. They also urged Lieutenant Governor G C Murmu and district administration to provide two months ration along with monthly cash assistance in advance to migrants with an immediate effect. They also urged for providing of sugar,mustard oil,spices,pulses and other essentials on fair price rates through mobile supply vans in the camp.
