GMC Rajouri doctor volunteer himself to join fight against COVID-19 pandemic

RAJOURI, Apr 6: Setting an example of selfless dedication to serve humanity, when coronavirus has spread its tentacles in entire country, a doctor serving at Government Medical College (GMC) and Associate Hospital Rajouri has voluntarily joined to help with fight against COVID -19 pandemic. Dr Javed Choudhary, who is also Deputy Superintendent GMC Rajouri volunteer himself to serve the COVID-19 patients in the hospital and providing them treatments round the clock. The dedication of this can be gauged from the fact that he got shifted his entire family including two children, wife, mother and father in Jammu as a safety measure so that he might not keep in touch with family physically.
While talking to Early Times, Dr Javed said that entire country has been fighting with the pandemic and everybody has been giving his/her service in this cause. “Our profession also teaches us to serve the nation in difficult times that is why I myself volunteered to treat corona virus patients. I didn’t want to put my family into any kind of trouble while working with COVID-19 patients so I shifted my family in Jammu, because social distancing is the only way by which we can save our family in these difficult times. Although I am in touch with my family telephonically and interact with children and other family member through video call every day,” he said.
He further said that Prime Minister has been encouraging the doctors and other staffs engaged in fighting COVID 19 pandemic for that country has been declared lockdown. In these testing times, it becomes our duty to work whole heartedly, selfless and tirelessly.
“We should follow the safety instructions, guidelines given by the government including washing hands properly, maintaining social distance, and not coming out during lockdown period, only then we can win over this deadly virus,” Dr Javed said further adding that he is available all the time for anybody, who needs help and they can contact him on his personal Mobile NO. 7889647091.
