Lockdown restriction continues, several violators booked in Rajouri
Police provides essentials to several families, helps old age people.

Rajouri, Apr 5 : With the restrictions of lockdown due to corona virus pandemic continued across Rajouri district on Sunday with streets kept wearing a deserted looks.
Police in its official statement said that as per the orders of District Magistrate, only essential services were allowed to remain functional.
A few people found violating government directions were also booked and action was initiated against them.
Police said that a team of police station Rajouri during patrolling seized a JCB machine bearing registration JK11C 2275 which was found working near power house Kheora.
Driver of the said machine vehicle escaped from the spot whose manhunt has been launched while a case FIR 184/2020 under sections 188 IPC has been registered in police station Rajouri.
Another team of Kalakote police station during patrolling in village Dhalyote found that Saraj Din son of Noor Din resident of Dhalyote had started some construction work with around one dozen labourers were engaged in work.
Kalakote police station registered a case i.e FIR 25/2020 under sections 188 IPC against the owner.
Similarly, a case in FIR 182/2020 under sections 188 IPC has been registered against Mohammad Shahid son of Mohammad Zahid resident of Ujhan, at present Kheora, who was found doing construction work at his house.
Meanwhile, many senior citizens who called up on police helpline dedicated for senior citizens and asked for help were facilitated in the form of provision of medicines and other essentials.
