J&K UT efficiently fighting COVID-19 pandemic: Raman Suri
4/12/2020 9:48:20 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, April 12: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K Executive Member, Raman Suri, today said that coronavirus pandemic has taken everybody by alarm but this is the time when we don't spread or seek wrong information, don't cause panic and don't crowd places, failing which will lead to reversal of governmental efforts for breaking the chain of virus transmission. Other than taking the basic precautions suggested by government, we have to prepare ourselves for post pandemic steps as well, so that life could get back on track smoothly.
Raman Suri added that prime things amongst government advisories are to avoid touching your face, not stockpiling on masks and other essential items, stay at home, avoid unnecessary travel, stay away from misinformation, seek medical help and not any alternative treatment, avoid antibiotics, not propagate hostility against anyone and help each other. Raman Suri gave the principle of 5 'S' in order to fight this pandemic- Stay at home, Social Distancing, Sanitiser or Soap to be used frequently, Safe Cash/ Cashless Transactions and Stay Calm. He said, in the first place people should stay at home, and go out only incase of emergency. Secondly, people should maintain social distancing while going out to buy essential items in the vegetable & fruit markets, medical stores and grocery stores. Thirdly, frequent washing of hands with soap and water or using sanitizer.
