Instead of condemning Pakistan for killing 3 Kashmiris, Mehbooba trying to shield notorious rape accused
4/13/2020 12:04:54 AM

Early Times Report

Jammu, Apr 12: Shelling from Pakistan killed three innocent Kashmir- including one minor and a woman but Kashmir centric leaders-who usually remained active on twitter to taunt Union Government, could not muster guts to condemn this inhuman act of Pakistan.
Instead of condemning Pakistan for killing three residents of Kashmir, most of the leaders were busy in raking up irrelevant issues just to befool the innocent people. Three civilians including an 8-year-old boy killed along the Line of Control (LoC) in cross shelling in frontier districts of north Kashmir today. The deceased were identified as Shameena Begum, Javeed Khan, both from the Chowkibal area and Zayan, an 8-year-old boy from Tumna village.
“There was heavy shelling and soon after it stopped, police teams reached the civilian area for rescue work”, said a senior police officer.
The heavy exchange of firing is going on from both sides. According to reports, Pakistan targeted Shararat post, Jal, Black Rock, and Anil posts. Sources say, many Pakistani shells landed in civilian areas. This comes just a day after massive cross border shelling was reported in the area.
Shockingly instead of condemning Pakistan, PDP president, whose twitter is handled by her daughter, was trying rescue one rape accused who has been arrested by the police for trying to create communal tension in J&K. This rape accused had earlier tried to put Jammu region on fire by raking religious sentiments of the people.
“Talib Hussain, a PDP leader has been arrested for a social media post on plight of Gujjars due to lockdown. If activists & political workers are jailed for merely raising public issues, then who will speak on behalf of people? Request @mukesh_ips_jk to intervene”, Mehbooba tweeted.
