Kishtwar, Apr 12: Tilak Raj Shan, President Shiv Sena Bala Sahib Thackeray Chenab Valley region, appreciated the determined steps taken and working of Civil and Police Administration Kishtwar headed by DDC Kishtwar, Rajinder Singh Tara and SSP Kishtwar Dr. Harmeet Singh Mehta to prevent the spread of dreaded COVID-19. Shan stated that the district administration successfully undertaken several initiatives to make the life of every citizen easy, safe and manageable during lockdown and left no stone unturned to sanitise the specific areas, providing of free ration and essentials to poor and needy ones, distribution of masks and sanitizers, besides in making the people of the district Kishtwar aware about the dreaded COVID-19. Shan added that despite some shortcomings, the collective approach of doctors, SMC workers, municipalities, PHE and district administration Kishtwar towards this pandemic is appreciable. “Follow the instructions issued by the Govt from time to time, maintain social distancing, stay indoor is the only sure-shot remedy to stop the rampant spread of the COVID-19”,he appealed people of Kishtwar.
