Shardha Mata Mandir Community President distributes free masks among people

KISHTWAR, Apr 19: The free mask distribution campaign was today launched by Shardha Mata Mandir Community at Anjole by Deepak Sharma working as president of community along with general secretary Prethivi Raj, Ravi Kumar, Ashwani Kumar wherein public of Anjole were provided free masks to combat COVID 19.
All the members of the Shardha Mandir Community distributed nearly around 300 masks to the public of Anjole /Thakraie area of Kishtwar particularly the destitute people of the area.
As the Holy Mandir is three hundred years old and the community of the area look after the affairs and management of the Mandir. During the distribution community member provided information and created awareness about the precautions against Covid 19 and requested the people to stay home and avoid public gathering and maintain social distancing as police and other officers never bothered to look after the miseries of the people of Anjole. The committee members underlined that they requested the public to take preventive measure to safeguard the area from Corona Virus and help to break the chain by maintaining social distance and washing hands regularly and maintain cleanliness in the area in all respect and avoid congregation and assembly. Further, the committee members requested district administration to pay attention towards the genuine demands of public of Anjole like distribution of ration, essential commodities, availablity of medicines, deployment of VDC post at Anjole besides payment of wages among job card holders which has been kept withheld due to partisian and biased attitude of rdd functionaries.
