ASHA workers prove self as corona warriors in Udhampur

Udhampur, Apr 19: Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHA) workers of Health Department in district Udhampur were proved as real front line corona virus they have been designated to assist with healthcare management. They have been directed by government to educate people about the virus, check for symptoms, and provide advice on precautions to be taken in dealing with COVID-19 also ASHA workers going door-to-door to collect information about and monitor people who have returned after travelling to other States affected by the virus and also those who hide the Travel history .
Covering long distance reach every far flung and remote villages ASHA workers in district udhampur work tireless day and night to protect the Common masses those who lives in villages because villagers not have proper awareness as well as information about the COVID-19 they aware them to take precautions like wearing Masks , Sanitize or wash hands frequently maintain cleanness and eat hygienic food . Sardhara Bano ASHA worker from village NARSOO village which is earlier declared as Red Zone area sub centre Childi and working in Kither Village she said that the Corona-virus is very biggest Challenge to us but we accept the challenge and work in front line cover 7 to 8 km regular as our area in Red zone and we have to work more to protect common masses from COVID-19 we reach door to door aware them and feel proud that we are known as corona warriors . She also hailed prime minister of India Narendra Modi to provide us this opportunity to work for Public .
