3 day training on JKPaySys concludes at Poonch

POONCH, Apr 30: A training programme for online submission of bills in treasuries for processing by the Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) through IT-enabled JKPaySys application concluded today at Poonch.
At the beginning of the programme District Treasury Officer, Mohd. Akram Thakkar provided masks to all the participants to prevent the epidemic.
During the programme, trainer from the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Tejpal Singh imparted detailed training to the Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) and Dealing Assistants about the process of furnishing e-bills to the treasuries along with all pre-requisites and documents mandated as per the treasury code.
The DDOs were told that the new system of payment is aimed at to ensure efficiency, transparency and smooth functioning of the billing and payment system and would ensure hassle-free payments from the treasuries.
DTO Poonch impressed upon all the DDOs for the implementation of JKPaySys in letter and spirit. He also informed that the training shall be given in a segregated manner observing all precautions of COVID-19.
District Treasury Officer, Mohd Akram Thakar informed that it has been made mandatory for all DDOs to submit all Bills on JKPaySys online portal for fast and improvised disposal of all treasury bills.
