BARAMULLA, Apr 30: Despite the fact that the district administration, police, Doctors, para medical staff, volunteers and other on ground staff have not left any stone unturned in containing the spread of Covid-19, today again 11 positive case were reported from Baramulla district.
According to district wise positive cases and other details are concerned that shows, 11 positive cases have been reported today from Baramulla district, while as cumulative till date are 84, active positive are 60, recovered are 21 and three deaths have occurred so for due to Covid-19.
While as from past two days, there is no positive case from the twin districts of north Kashmir including Kupwara and Bandipora, while as active positive are 102 in Bandipora and active positive are 30 in Kupwara.
Meanwhile, according to details that are available to us said, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, Zahoor Ahmad Mir Thursday visited various Quarantine centres established in the district and took stock of arrangements put in place for the persons under administrative quarantine.
Mir who was accompanied by Nodal Officer Imtiyaz Ahmad Lone visited Quarantine Centre established at Faiz-e-Aam Secondary School, One-Stop Centre Nishat Park, ANMT School Nussu, ITI Bandipora, Guest House Ayatmulla, Forest Trainning School Chiternar, Degree College Patushai and Mehboob-ul-Alam College of Education and took stock of arrangements made for the suspected persons.
He interacted with the nodal officers and other staff besides interacting with the persons placed under quarantine to get the feedback about the facilities being provided to them.
On the occasion, ADC was informed that 33 quarantine centres have been established in the district and 551 persons are under administrative quarantine in the district
ADC impressed upon the concerned officers to provide food to the boarders on time especially during Iftar and Sehri time besides taking extra care of the children and women under quarantine.
He also stressed on proper hygienic refreshment to the boarders besides ensuring proper sanitation, heating and round the clock electricity at the Quarantine centre.
