Plus Two Lecturers' Forum project demands before authorities

Jammu May 3: Monthly meeting of All J&K Plus Two Lecturers’ Forum was held under the Chairmanship of its President Deepak Sharma through teleconferencing to discuss pressing issues and demands pertaining to Plus Two cadre.
Deepak demanded Expediting of functioning of Administrative committee constituted vide Govt. Order no 78 Edu of 2020 Dated 12-3-2020 to address/resolve issues pertaining to 10+2 cadre mainly focusing on Time Bound Promotion and alleged discrimination as only 10+2 lecturers , amongst Gazetted cadre of UT of J&K have been deprived of Assured Career progression scheme (ACP)/Time Bound Promotion.
Forum demanded immediate issuance of regularization orders of Principals and majority of left over cases of Joint Directors, CEOs and lecturers kept pending for want of petty reasons including of those who have retired from active service with dignity and honour after being issued required NOCs from Education department. Forum also hoped that issue of Fixation of Induction Quota into KAS in favour of Plus Two Lecturers will also be resolved soon as promised by the dynamic Principal Secretary.
Forum also demanded release of promotion list of Principals strictly as per UT level seniority and that of Senior Lecturers as per one-third cadre strength. Other demands raised were Revocation of SRO-202 for all govt. employees including Plus Two lecturers, provision of Earned Leave in favour of teaching community, Restoration of 40% college quota, Non- vacational status to Plus Two Principals)/HoS and Regularization and removal of pay disparity of Physical Education Lecturers.
