| J-K Forest Officer insults Handwara martyrs on social media | | Authorities lack guts to take action against ‘influential’ officer of Forest Deptt | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 3: At a time when whole nation is paying tributes to the martyrs of Handwara, many people including some government servants of J&K government posted very derogatory comments to insult these martyrs.
Social media was flooded with such derogatory comments on the martyrs but cyber wing of J&K Police has yet not taken any action against those who have posted such comment.
Among others who have posted comment to insult these martyrs, one was Younis Bhat, a Forest Officer in the J&K Forest Department who has shamelessly posted highly derogatory comment against five martyrs of Hardwara.
Photo of his comment and his Facebook profile like has been circulated in social media but authorities in J&K could not muster guts to take action against that Forest Officer. Nationalist people on the social media are demanding that the Forest Officer should be immediately terminated from his service and action should be taken against him for disrespecting martyrs of the Army and J&K Police.
Younis Bhat is not the only one who is insulting Handwara martrys. Some people from Pakistan mocked the Handwara by claiming that it was a repeat of Abhinandan Varthaman episode, in which the Airforce fighter pilot was captured by Pakistani Army right after Indian Airforce had stuck terrorist hubs at Balakot inside Pakistan.
