BARAMULLA, May 3: Despite putting all their efforts in containing the spread of Covid-19, 11 fresh cases were reported in Kupwara, and 3 in Baramulla district of north Kashmir.
According to media bulletin that, there are 11 fresh cases that were reported in Kupwara district and three new cases were reported today in Baramulla district and no positive case was found in Bandipora district.
Baramulla has recovered 34 cases, while as 19 have been recovered in Bandipora and 23 recovered in Kupwara today and with this the total no of recovered cases in north Kashmir are 76 today, while as 112 have recovered as on date in north Kashmir, said sources.
Sources said that, all 25 samples that were taken yesterday from Sub District Hospital came negative today.
SKIMS Medical College Hospital Bemina Sunday informed that 27 more Covid-19 patients were discharged from the hospital after recovering from the contagious disease. So far 75 Covid-19 patients have recovered among the 149 such patients admitted in the hospital.
The 26 patients who were discharged from the hospital after recovery from Covid-19 infection today include 19 from Bandipora, 07 from Baramulla.
Meanwhile sources also said that, many violators were booked today in north Kashmir district for defying the prohibitory orders while as many vehicles have been also seized.
Accordingly, cases under relevant sections of law have been registered and investigations into the cases have been initiated in police stations.
The district administrations and police authorities have once again announced the general public not to defy the prohibitory orders, only then it is possible to contain the spread of Covid-19, otherwise all the handwork and efforts in controlling it will go ruin, sources added.
