| Auto Operators demand compensation for 3-wheeler drivers | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 3: All Jammu Auto Operators Association has appealed the Lt Governor Girish Chander Murmu and other higher officials of J&K Union Territory to give compensation to the auto rickshaw drivers as they are without any work for the last more than one month. Ajay Bhat General Secretary of the Association said that 3-wheeler drivers have only source to earn their livelihood is from driving the auto rickshaws but currently they are staying inside their homes due to Corona disease and has nothing to earn for more than five weeks now. Bhat said that we appeal to Lt Governor for helping the auto rickshaw drivers who have to face so many problems to feed their families. Auto Drivers be given compensation so that they can feed their families in this lock down period due to corona disease. |
