Sarita Chauhan inspects facilities at quarantine centres

JAMMU, May 18: Commissioner Secretary, Forest, Ecology and Environment, Sarita Chauhan today visited various quarantine centres in Jammu city and inspected the facilities made available by the administration for the inmates.
She visited Centres at M A M Stadium, Jammu and Kashmir Sport Council Bhagwati Nagar, Yoga Centre Gole Gujral etc.
While reviewing the arrangements, the Commissioner Secretary stressed upon maintaining proper sanitation and making available masks and other facilities so that quarantined people may not face any inconvenience during their stay/treatment.
The Commissioner Secretary stressed upon the concerned authorities to lay special focus on facilities for child care and pregnant women. She further called for maintaining social distancing and following other guidelines issued by Health Department and administration from time to time. She urged for making inmates aware about preventive guidelines by putting up slogans and banners at the centres. She also directed the concerned authorities to maintain proper cleanliness in the bathrooms, besides hygiene and sanitation in the rooms at quarantine centres.
The Commissioner Secretary also interacted with the quarantined people and enquired about the facilities provided by the administration. Earlier, Nodal Officers of the centres also briefed the Commissioner Secretary about the medical facilities made available for the quarantined persons in these centres. Commissioner Secretary, Forest, Ecology and Environment, Sarita Chauhan today visited various quarantine centres in Jammu city and inspected the facilities made available by the administration for the inmates.
