Sarafa Association distributes Digital IR thermometers, sanitizers amongst members

JAMMU, June 10: Keeping a pace with the government guidelines and helping shopkeepers besides their employees and customers stay safe from Coronavirus, Sarafa Association Jammu, also known as Jewellers Association Jammu, today distributed Hand-Held Digital Infrared Thermometers (IRT) and Sanitisers amongst all its member jewellers in Lakhdata Bazar, Jain Bazar, Upper Bazar, Panjtirthi, Mubarak Mandi besides Gandhi Nagar, Bahu Plaza and Talab Tillo areas.
An establishment to establishment campaign was launched, whereby Chairman Raman Suri along with President Parjan Jain, General Secretary Vijay Verma, Treasurer Surinder Jain and Executive Members Rakesh Mahajan, Ajay Talla, Sanjay Jain, Darshan Dhalla, Vijay Saraf, Chaman Khajuria and Sumit Handa distributed IR Digital Thermometers and Sanitisers as well as made them aware of the minimum basic precautions to be adopted during business hours. They were advised to maintain distance, wear masks, use Sanitisers and keep temperature of air conditioners at a reasonable level.
While making the shop owners aware, Parjan Jain, Vijay Verma, Sanjay Jain, Rakesh Mahajan also requested them to keep their staff sanitised all the time, give them gloves, masks, and keep Sanitisers near the entrance of business establishment to help clients use them conveniently. He said that these minimum basic precautions will not only keep shopkeepers and their staff safe but also encourage customers to shop confidently.
All the jewellers welcomed this step of Sarafa Association Jammu and said that these little steps will help government flatten the COVID-19 graph and get Jammu rid of this infectious virus.
