JAMMU, June 10: Two days after chairing a high level meeting of the top officers, the Chief Secretary (CS) has called another meeting to discuss the issue of corruption on June 16 at Civil Secretariat Jammu.
In the last meeting which was held on June 8, only 13 administrative secretaries were asked to attend the meeting, however, in the upcoming meeting all the administrative secretaries have been directed to be present.
“Chief Secretary, J&K has desired to convene a meeting, to discuss the issue of corruption in the Union Territory of J&K and ways to curb it, in meeting hall 3rd Floor, Civil Secretariat, Jammu on 16/06/2020 at 11am. Accordingly, all administrative secretaries are requested to kindly make it convenient to attend the meeting on the scheduled date time and venue”, copy of meeting issued by Dr Mohammad Usman Khan, Deputy Secretary to Govt on 10/06/2020 read.
The notice copy further read that administrative secretaries stationed at Civil Secretariat, Srinagar are requested to attend the meeting through video conferencing. “Besides, Director, Anti-Corruption Bureau, J&K is also requested to attend the meeting”, the meeting notice read.
It is pertinent to mention here that two days back the CS had chaired a meeting on similar lines at Civil Secretariat Jammu. |
