Pardyuman demands inquiry into Devika River project

Udhampur, Oct 6: Pradyuman Singh, Research Student and Social Worker Udhampur has demanded enquiry of functioning of Sewerage Department in connection with Devika River project.
He alleged that government has failed to revive Devika river as it has been almost two years, the government has failed to complete the project.
The condition of Devika river is so bad the people who come for pilgrimage here cannot take a bath. He alleged that the department is just wasting money and if you talk about the streets, you will see that the concrete is not being done properly inside the streets. Nor are those lanes that were completely uprooted, only the work being done and which is the sewerage department. The counselor of the city has also expressed resentment on this issue many a times.
He appealed to LG JK UT to take note of the problem and demanded early redressal.
