Early Times Report

NAGROTA, Oct 6: President of Jammu and Kashmir Saaf Suthra Movement (JKSSM), Shouqat Ali Choudhary took stock of basic facilities being provided to people of Nagrota Constituency.
During his visit to several areas of Nagrota Constituency, Choudhary interacted with the local residents and listened to their issues and problems being faced by them.
The issues including proper road connectivity, blacktopping, water scarcity, proper electricity, healthcare, proper drainage and sanitation should be issued at the earliest.
They told Choudhary that residents in general and students in particular face acute problems as the area lacks the road connectivity from Kalakupat to Nadqa Primary School and other adjoining areas.
“We are forced to move on foot to other areas as the area lacks roads,” the residents said, adding that if proper roads are constructed their children would get relief from long walks to school. Pertinent, the road if constructed from Kalakupat to Nadqa Primary School will connect the areas with Ban Toll Plaza.
Choudhary, after listening to the issues people face amid global pandemic, assured them that he would take all the issues with the concerned authorities and seek redressal as soon as possible. He said that the LG administration should take personal interest and solve the problems of these people so that they can be provided with road facilities beside resolving their basic issues.
Choudhary appealed to Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to address the issues of residents of Nagrota areas at the earliest.
