Early Times Report

Anantnag, Apr 1: Taking cognizance of the news report carried under the headline “Anantnag village up in arms against R&B Deptt” in Friday’s edition of Early Times, officials this afternoon rushed to Dadoo village and assured the residents that the road will be constructed according to the DPR. It’s in place to mention here that residents of Dadoo while talking to Early Times had alleged that the department had used sub-standard material to construct this road. “They have just put dust and have not blacktopped it.”
The school buses drop students one kilometre away from our village,” they had said, adding that despite the road being sanctioned under NABARD the road was not being constructed according to the DPR.
On Friday a team of the officials from R&B Department rushed to the village and told the residents that they need not worry and road will be built as per the standard procedures.
