BJP offshoot on streets against Raj Bhawan’s decision to render educated youth jobless
4/1/2022 11:24:18 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Apr 1: BJP is facing an embarrassing situation as Sangh Parivar’s offshoot Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) is on the streets against the “anti-youth” decision of the J&K administration.
ABVP has already launched a fight against the SAC (State Administrative Council) and SCERT decisions on no fresh recruitment till adjustment of all RRETs and 100 percent promotion of Masters as Lecturers.
On Friday ABVP organized a massive protest on Bikram Chowk-Univerity Road. Some activists of ABVP were also detained by the police for disrupting the movement of traffic at the ever-busy Bikram Chown.
ABVP activists are demanding 80 percent direct recruitment of Teachers as well as Lectures and 20 percent through departmental promotions. They were also demanding a re-advertisement of SCERT 2021 Recruitment notification with deletion of teaching experience eligibility.
ABVP-student wing of BJP, on Friday, vowed to continue against the anti-youth decisions of SAC and SCERT.
“These decisions are totally against the career of educated unemployed youth of Jammu and Kashmir and we will never tolerate the same,” the ABVP leader said.
Agitation launched by the ABVP has created embarrassment for BJP leaders who failed to take up peoples’ issues effectively before the administration. Instead of vociferously taking up issues pertaining to the people, BJP leaders have maintained a criminal silence on important issues be it aspirations of border battalions, BSF, CRPF aspirants, daily wagers etc.
