CBK files charge-sheet against X-Ray technician for producing fake certificate

SRINAGAR, Apr 4: Crime Branch Kashmir (CBK) on Monday filed a chargesheet in the Court of Passenger Tax and Electricity Srinagar against a X-Ray Technician for producing a fake certificate to manage his appointment in the Health Department, officials said.
A CBK statement said a case was filed against one Bashir Ahmad Wani a resident of Maddar Bandipora in north Kashmir who had obtained and produced a fake 10+2 certificate and has managed appointment as Junior X-Ray Technician in Health Department
CBK has received a complaint from one Aijaz Ahmad Mir of Gund Rampora Bandipora, wherein it has been alleged that Bashir Ahmad Wani has managed his selection through Service Selection Recruitment Board (SSRB_ as Jr. X-Ray Assistant in the Health Department on the basis of a fake and forged 10+2 marks certificate.
A case was registered in Police Station CBK and charges were investigated during the course of investigation, it was established that the accused Wani had managed his appointment as Jr. X-Ray Technician in Health Department through his selection under Open Merit category on the basis of production of fake and forged 10+2 marks certificate purportedly issued by Board of School Education Uttar Pradesh Allahabad, Regional Office Meerut.
Wani has also managed fake and forged verification reports and has joined in the office of Director Health Services, Kashmir, on 24.3.2016.
Upon the verification of the said marks card from the concerned board it came to fore, that the Certificate as well as verification report is fake and forged.
Accordingly, on the basis of facts, the investigation of the case was closed as proved against Wani, the statement added.
