Jammu, Feb 12: Constantly under pressure from within for snapping alliance with PDP, the BJP is unlikely to take the extreme step. The party has been increasingly under pressure to snap ties especially after filing of FIR against the army officer and then shouting of Pakistan Zindabad slogans by the National Conference MLA with BJP not making serious effort to get him sacked.
"The statement of Ashok Khajuria can damage the party , but the high command is unlikely to snap the ties, we have got serious calculations here and have long term strategy to stay here so we are not going to back off at this moment," said senior leadership of the party high command.
