Early Times Report Jammu, May 15: The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Friday rescinded the order elevating an incharge assistant professor to the post of Head of Department at Government Medical College Jammu. According to the details available with Early Times the order to elevate Dr Sanjay Kumar Basin as HOD surgery was issued by the new GMC Principal Dr Nasib Chand Dogra. The new GMC principal, according to the sources, had crossed the line by issuing an order No. 408- JK(HME) on 1/05/2020. “The principal had shown his administrative immaturity by issuing the order. While 21 cases were reported from Kashmir, nine such cases were reported from Jammu division. Reports said that fresh cases were reported from as many as 10 districts of the union territory. Early Times Report Jammu, May 15: Authorities on Friday lodged an FIR against a doctor and his brother who escaped from quarantine in J&K Poonch district of J&K UT. Police said the doctor and his brother escaped from an administrative quarantine in Mendhar tehsil of Poonch district. "The doctor came back along with his brother at 12.30 p.m. today after he unauthorisedly left the quarantine in violation of the laid down rules and procedure.
