Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 19: In wake of the apparent split in the Peoples Democratic Party and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti being left with only 15 MLAs, the PDP rebels are creating a notion that they are going to form the new government in Jammu and Kashmir with the support of the MLAs from Bharatiya Janata Party. The impression is being created that anyone from Kashmir would be the next chief minister and there is no possibility about leader from Jammu heading the new dispensation. "It's unfortunate that entire political discourse in J&K revolves around Kashmir and Jammu figures nowhere," said a politician. He said that even if BJP decides to support the PDP rebels their strength would be more than them as they have 25 legislators in the 87 member assembly in the state. "It's a cardinal principle that numbers matter. The party would highest number of seats gets the top post.
