Early Times Report
Jammu, June 22: Ram Madhav, the man who was instrumental in formation of PDP-BJP alliance in Jammu and Kashmir, was severely taken to task by the party MLAs and senior leaders for surrendering everything before the coalition partner while forming "Agenda for the Alliance".
Anger, which was brewing among BJP MLAs and senior leaders for the last three months, burst today when Ram Madhav came in front of the annoyed cadre today.
Not only Ram Madhav was taken to task by the BJP cadre but party ministers were also in the firing line for their "attitude and behaviour".
Credible sources said that one of the party MLA has raised the question about points incorporated in the "Agenda for the Alliance", in which, according to him, party has surrendered everything just to attain power.
"Ram Madhav was answerless because he has no argument to counter anger of BJP MLAs and cadre who pointed out that party leadership has not only given Chief Minister's post to PDP but also surrendered all sensitive and crucial departments to PDP", sources said and added that a leader argued that departments notorious for corruption and making money have been allocated to the BJP ministers while as crucial departments like Revenue, Planning and Finance were given to the PDP to formulate long term polices for the State.
Credible sources said that one of the MLA pointed out that BJP ministers were running only their departments while as PDP Ministers are running the government.
Taking a dig at Ram Madhav for his failure to protect Jammu's interest while formulating "Agenda for the Alliance", a senior leader asked how AIIMS sanctioned for Jammu region in the year 2003 was shifted to Kashmir Valley. Some leaders made a veiled attack on Ram Madhav for pro-Kashmir centric approach at the cost of wishes and aspirations of the people of Jammu region.
