Verma holds meetings in Kathua, seeks votes for Azad | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Apr 13: Vice Chairman of Advisory Board for Welfare and Development of OBC, Kuldeep Raj Verma today held series of public meetings in support of Ghulam Nabi Azad, who is contesting from Udhampur-Doda-Kathua seat. Verma accompanied by large number of Congress workers and leaders, held meetings at Hiranagar ward number 3, ward number 7, village Chandwan, Sambyala, and Gaghwal where he sought support for Azad. Speaking on the occasion, Verma appealed the people to come in large number and cast their valuable votes in support of Azad ensuring his victory. Verma said Congress party is secular and it has worked for the all the sections of society across the Country and in J&K and many developmental steps were also taken by the UPA Government which is being led by Congress party. He cautioned the people against the communal forces trying to create wedge among the people believing in different faiths during elections. |
