Singh seeks votes for Azad | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 13: Former Minister and senior Congress leader Manjit Singh today conducted campaign in support of coalition candidate for Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha seat Ghulam Nabi Azad in various villages of his constituency. According to a press release, former Minister Manjit Singh held series of meetings with the people seeking support for Azad. The meetings were organized at Ragbagh Camp, Chagda Camp, Paloura Camp, Hirya Chak, Rajpura Camp besides other villages in which a large number of people participated. Singh, addressing the people, said that Ghulam Nabi Azad has worked for the development of the people of Jammu and Kashmir as its Chief Minister for three years in which many prestigious projects were completed in a time bought manner. Singh informed people that Azad who is a national leader has always remained active for the welfare of the State's people even after he was the Union Health Minister and gave medical colleges and cancer hospitals for increasing health care. Singh said that people should cast their votes in support of Azad and ensure victory of the coalition candidate in the April 17 elections for Udhampur-Doda parliamentary seat. |
