| Vote only weapon to get rid of NC: Karra | | |

SRINAGAR, Apr 13: Senior Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) leader, Tariq Hameed Karra today said the National Conference after having failed on all fronts has been harassing the people of Srinagar particularly youth for none of their faults and it does not even forgive its own ground level workers for raising their voices against its anti-people policies and wrong doings.
Addressing a workers meeting at Rajbagh in Amirakadal segment of Srinagar parliamentary constituency Karra expressed concern that for even pity issues people of Srinagar are being harassed as the ruling party has let loose a gunda raj culture in the city. On this occasion Ab Hameed Kosheen secretary coordination, Ab Rahim Kuchair, Nisar Ahmad Mandoo, Haji Parvez Ahmad and many others were also present and addressed the gathering. He said NC has been taking Srinagar ties for ride for many decades now and ignoring their day-to-day issues besides making them live their lives under the constant shadow of boots and bamboos, which have become an easy tool for the ruling party to suppress the city dwellers.
Karra, who is PDP's parliamentary candidate for Srinagar parliamentary constituency, said vote is the only solution to get 'azadi' from the NC and called upon people to come out in large numbers in the forthcoming polls to vote in favor of the PDP so that there is end of NC's hooliganism. He said NC was always interested in power for the Abdullah family and they took votes to strike deals in Delhi for ministerial berths and in return sacrificed the state's interests. |
