PDP leaders seek support for party candidate | | |
Reasi, Apr 13: State secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Surinder Choudhary along with senior leaders of the party today conducted extensive tour of some pockets of Reasi and sought support for party candidate Arshad Malik, who has been contesting Parliament election from Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha seat. While addressing series of public meetings at Ransu, Pouni, Parakh, Reasi and Katra, Choudhary said that National Conference and Congress are equally responsible for the hardship being faced by the people so the on-going Parliament elections are an opportunity to teach these parties a lesson for their misdeeds. He said that unlike other political parties, PDP is contesting not just to attain power but our aim is to accelerate the movement for change in Jammu and Kashmir. "We are committed to throw out this worst ever corrupt government", he said and told the people that Parliament elections is first step toward change. Choudhary told the people that parties like BJP, Congress and National Conference have so far failed to protect interests of the people. "Only PDP has potential to fulfil aspirations of all sections of the society because this party has a credible and trusted leadership", he said and added that National Conference-Congress leadership has exposed before the people and both these parties have lost faith of the people. |
