"People support Azad for his slogan of 'Hindu, Muslim, Sikh Etihad": Ajaz Jan

Batote, Apr 13: Launching an intensified campaign, senior leader and National Conference MLA from Ajaz Jan on Sunday said people support Gulam Nabi Azad because for his slogan of 'Hindu, Muslim, Sikh Etihad (unity)'. The country's well being depends on that. Jan held a series of NC Party workers meeting at at Kishtwar, Doda and Asar besides public meetings at Asar and took stock of poll preparation ahead of 17th April voting. While addressing Jan urged the people to vote for Congress candidate from Udhampur-Kathua-Doda Parliamentary Seat, Ghulam Nabi Azad because is the only Candidate which believes that India's strength lies in its unity in diversity and wants all people from all parts of the country to live happily throughout the length and breadth of India.
People on the occasion complained to Jan that Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department (CAPD) is only providing 5Kg rice per ration card instead of 15 Kg has been made available to the poor consumers. He (Jan) said that he is in contact with the higher officials of CAPD and due to Heavy Rain Fall CAPD was not in a Position to supply ration he assured G public that Ration been made available to the consumers adding that higher officials of CAPD have assured that before 14th of April Ration will be available at every depot of CAPD. Jan also listened to various local issues of area district Doda.
The local leadership expressed and assured their vote and support in favour of Azad. Block President NC said that if the inhabitants of Ramban Constituency want development of their area , then this is the right time to bring Azad as their Member Parliament.
Addressing several meeting in the constituency Jan said due to efforts of Ghulam Nabi Azad as Union Minister for Health, he sanctioned five medical colleges and several cancer institutes in J&K which was a gift from him to people of J and K.
