| Mufti's visionary policies to make J&K self reliant: Hamid Choudhary | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 16: People's Democratic Party (PDP) leader and party coordinator for Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency, Abdul Hamid Choudhary today said that the visionary policies of party patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed are aimed at making our state self reliant.
Urging party workers and people of the state to strengthen hands of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, Choudhary Hamid said that time has come to return that era of peace and prosperity wherein people's safety and security was considered supreme.
The party under the Presidentship of Mehbooba Mufti, he added had achieved success in recently concluded Lok Sabha polls and intends to repeat the same in coming assembly elections as well.
In his statement issued here, Choudhary Hamid said the incumbent government had completely derailed the peace process and its leaders were now trying to create unrest in the state by issuing irresponsive statements and vitiating peaceful atmosphere for their personal gains. He said PDP has become a viable alternative in the state and is all set to end persisting corrupt system. He urged people to get rid of this corrupt system by sending credible people in state assembly as well.
Choudhary Hamid said the coalition government wasted five and a half years and also disturbed peace and prosperity in J&K State. Having encouraged corruption and nepotism throughout these years it has nothing to tell to the people now. Some desperate and last minute attempts are being made to woo people but it too late and too little now. |
