JAMMU, June 16 : Presiding Officer Fast Track court Sanjeev Gupta awarded one month imprisonment and fine Rs 20,000 to one Surinder Singh in a case of molestation of minor girl age six years.
While awarding sentence, Court observed that if the fine amount is realized from convict, than whole of the amount shall be paid to the prosecutrix as compensation who had suffered due to the act of convict. In the meanwhile, father of the accused has been paid Rs. 20,000 as fine and the same shall be deposited with the Nazir of court. Court further directed that the amount shall be paid to the mother of the minor prosecutrix. JNF |
